Joel and Michelle
We have been married for ten years and were privileged to adopt our first child, Deegan, into our family two years ago. Deegan is a sweet, sensitive, and happy little two-year-old boy. We had wanted to start our family for many years, but were unable to have children. We believe God had planned for us to adopt from the beginning. We are very grateful that He chose this beautiful plan for us to build our family. We have been so blessed by our first adoption, and we’re eager to embrace the next child for which God has been preparing us.
Joel has a degree in Commercial Art and has been employed as a Creative Director & Department Supervisor at a marketing company for most of his career. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology concentrating in Human Development. She has had a career educating and caring for children, and now enjoys being a stay at home mom full time.
As a family we enjoy going for walks with our dog Pokey, playing outside and entertaining family and friends. We like having bonfires, game nights, traveling and especially laughing together. We are committed to raising our children in a loving, Christian environment, where we can encourage them to search for their own skills and talents. We hope all of our children will be able to have an ongoing relationship with their birth parents. Our family has made a lot of wonderful memories, and we are longing to welcome another child into our home.
